Spaghetti Banner
The name Spaghetti 100 stems from the
fact that we ride 12 miles and eat some salad. I think not. Actually, the name stems from the 100 plates of Spaghetti the average rider consumes after the day's ride.

We travel out on State Route 59, out from Moccassin Gap, otherwise known as Miccosukee.

The terrain is rolling, especially in the beginning We cruise through Metcalf. We skirt Thomasville, shoot east to Boston (home of the Boston, Georgia, marathon), drop down just north of Monticello, and head in on T. S. Greene Rd.

There are various distance options with the groups meeting frequently throughout the day.

And did I mention there was spaghetti? Actually you can have some at the half way mark ("lunch" I believe it is called) if you want to.

Of course my friends never let me stay longer than it takes to fill two water bottles, laugh at a some jokes, and then pound for a couple of more hours.

Cyclists, as you may know, can be a heartless lot.
