Depending on the time of day, the speed of your connection, and the congestion on the line between where you are and Italy, your mileage may vary.
The main page contains radio links that seemed pretty reliable. At one time or another, however, I have had problems accessing each one of the listed sites.
In general, the easiest things to understand are the news reports. The Italian State radio, la RAI, archives it's news reports at è http://www.radio.rai.it/grr/gr_1/edizioni.cfm. Remember that Italy is 6 hours ahead of the US East Coast time!
In general, Italian Radio is wonderful. In particular, La RAI has all kinds of shows: comedy, drama, comment, etc. It does take a very long time to be able to understand things though, especially the jokes! Be patient, and try to listen at least some time every day. Try to see how many words you can pick up on.
