NEW FOR THIS YEAR'S TOSRV SOUTH! We've added an "easy rider" route for the riders who want to be part of TOSRV, but don't want to put in all the miles. This means our riders now have THREE options: * The STANDARD - 200 miles in 2 days. * The METRIC - 200 kilometers/132 miles in 2 days. * The EASY RIDER - 120 kilometers/75 miles in 2 days. --- ON THE TOUR --- TERRAIN & MILEAGE: This 2 day ride is designed as a tour and NOT an endurance test. The route, considered moderate by our past riders, includes a mixture of mostly flat stretches and gentle rolling hills, An occasional "real" hill thrown in for excitement. All rides have a Saturday night destination of Albany, Georgia. Standard Route: This ride will originate and finish in the picturesque town of Quincy, Florida. More experienced riders will be treated with a finale of challenging hills returning into the town of Quincy as part of the 200 mile ride. Metric route: For intermediate riders, we offer a 200 kilometer ride (approximately 63 miles each day) which follows much of the same route as the standard, but doesn't include the Quincy hills. This ride will be based in Cairo. Georgia, TOSRV's day one breakfast stop. "Easy Rider" route: Beginning riders will enjoy the beauty of Southern Georgia and the thrill of a group tour without the long miles. This two- day/120 km ride (approximately 27 miles each day) will originate and finish in quaint Sale City, Georgia, TOSRV's day one lunch stop. All levels of cyclists have joined us and loved this tour, but most people will require at least a moderate amount of training. If you and your bicycle seat are well acquainted, you'll be able to ride easy and play hard on the standard or metric tour. If you are starting out, try our "Easy Rider" option! *** F-O-O-D F-O-O-D F-O-O-D F-O-O-D F-O-O-D F-O-O-D F-O-O-D *** Included in the price of the tour, TOSRV South has developed a reputation as "hog heaven" for those riders that live by the phrase "Ride to eat/Eat to ride."
